Cationic Reagent (PTAC) — 65% / 69%

Cationic Reagent is an aqueous solution of 3-chloro-2-hydroxypropyltrimethylammonium chloride (CHPTAC).
It is used as a cationic modifying agent for natural and synthetic polymers, especially starch, to produce cationic starch for paper strength enhancement and retention improvement.
Two grades are available: 65% active and 69% active.
