GT OGR108 is a high performance, water-based anionic fluorochemical agent specifically designed to impart oil and grease resistance to paper and paperboard with surface treatment process
This product is based on short-chain molecules that cannot break down to PFOA in the environment.
Products manufactured with GT OGR108 are readily recyclable.

GT OGR108 has low foaming nature. In some applications GT OGR 108 will provide sufficient water repellency without any additional sizing agent.

Product Application
GT OGR108 is intended for surface treatment for providing oil, grease and water repellency to paper and borad products. GT OGR108 is anionic product, which have good compatibility with other anionic or non-ionic chemicals. Anyway, it is recommended to check its compatibility with the system prior to use. The product can be diluted to any concentration with soft or deionized water.
The dilution step should be carried out with good agitation in order to assure proper dispersion.
For the surface treatment application, the recommended dosage is 5-15kg/ton paper. It is recommended that the pH be controlled between 7-9.The recommended drying temperature is between 90-150°C,and higher temperatures are also acceptable as long as the contact time is not too long. If the system contains a large number of bubbles or dissolved gases, we recommend to add suitable defoaming agent since air bubbles and dissolved gases can affect the performance of GT OGR 108.
Lab test is stronly recommended to carry out to determine the best formula and the optimum dosage before the forma using.
